Friendship Circle creates inclusive friendships between people with and without disabilities through over-the-top fun that fosters every individual's unique abilities.

One in four people have a disability, and too often, that means a life of isolation and loneliness without a meaningful way to contribute to the community around them. We’re not down with that. We believe that friendship is not a luxury and that every individual has unlimited potential and so much to give and teach.

Through our program Friends@Home people with disabilities experience pure friendship and acceptance from typical peers, and volunteers learn to appreciate differences and see their inherent value and the value of every person they encounter.

About
Friendship.

We Believe.

Every person has a soul and was chosen by G-D to be in this world to fulfill their important unique mission. We all have inherent value and are worthy of love, respect, and opportunities to connect.

Based on the bedrock foundation of "Love your fellow as yourself", we are committed to focusing on what we have in common with every person we encounter instead of focusing on superficial and outward differences.

Open to all

We are open to all families and individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, faith or background.

Team Friendship.

Friendship Circle of Kansas City is an independently-operating 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. While we are entirely responsible for our own operations, sustainability, and growth, we are part of a network of 83 worldwide Friendship Circle chapters. As a community, Friendship Circle chapters support each other, sharing program models and critical lessons learned. Friendship Circle of Kansas City is sustained through foundation, corporate, and government grants, as well as generous donations from private individuals.
